I woke up inside a police car. My hands were cuffed. The last thing I remembered was figuring out where Emily was. Now I was inside a place I didn't belong. I knew that instant that she had planned this. She had known I was going to figure out where she was. She knew everything, somehow. There was a snitch in the class. The door to the truck opened. A donut officer looked at me. "Young lady," he said "you are now a suspect in the kidnapping of Gumball Watterson and Penny Peanut." I knew this instant that I didn't belong here, but the officer didn't listen. He just started interregating me. "Where are they?" He kept asking me over and over again, his voice getting louder and louder. "WHERE ARE THEY?!" "I DON'T KNOW!!!" There was silence. The officer looked mad. "Book her." But before he could say that, he got knknocked out by someone. Darwin appeared behind the fallen officer. He unlocked the cuffs, and told me to follow him. As we crept towards the school, Darwin pointed towards the school yard. "They're in there." he whispered. I gave him my thanks, then headed towards the school yard. I saw a piece of rope, and a few feet away, I regonized something sticking out of the trapped-door there: an antler. Penny was in there. So was Gumball. I quietly opened the trap door, and darkness filled the empty room. I was afraid of the dark, but I had to save Gumball and Penny. I ventured in. It was the biggest mistake I ever made.
- Stace is known to be afraid of the dark.
- Penny's last name is revealed to be Penny Peanut.
